Spicy Cheese Sauce

Sometimes, I feel like Morpheus from the classic movie, The Matrix. 


"What if I told you....I could make a cheese sauce out of vegetables, with no oil, no dairy, that's almost fat free?"


 Welcome to the future. *lot's of wavy hand movements*




Trust me on this one...you will like this sauce. Put it on veggie burgers, nachos, pasta, burritos, toast, breakfast hash. Everything.



Spicy Cheese Sauce of the Future




2 Small Potatoes

1 Large carrot

1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard

1 Tbsp Sriracha

2 Tsp Tamari (soy sauce is fine)

1/2 Tbsp maple syrup

1 Tsp Salt

Juice of half a lemon

2 grinds black pepper (just a pinch if you don't have grinder)

1/2 C plain coconut milk


1. Dice potatoes and carrots, boil for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain and let cool.

2. Add all ingredients to ninja blender and blend until nice and cheesy. Heat back up and drizzle on whatever suits your fancy.
